I like elephants, farms, sustainable living, drinking my Earl Grey with sugar, all things artisanal and the smell of old books.
I’ve stopped eating meat since September 2011, but I have yet to be convinced that a world with a completely meat-free diet is sustainable. Going meat-free is a personal choice. If I cannot do the killing myself, I refuse to eat them. Until I find compelling evidence that a completely meat-free world is sustainable, I support sustainable family farming that treats the food production process and the animals involved with respect. I am against factory farming and its use of antibiotics.
A few issues that interest me at the moment are permaculture, food security and vegetarianism. Sometimes I write about my life, sometimes I share articles or quotes about the environment.
